It is difficult to compare more than two pieces of music at once. I believe that any human who claims to be able to provide a NUMERICAL ranking for any piece of art or music must be categorically WRONG. The only true numerical comparison is the binary A > B. It is also far more difficult to execute 136 ^ 2 / 2 comparisons of two pieces of music. 763 comparisons pairwise were conducted and I chose which fight song I liked better. For two fight songs i and j, if I concluded I was better than j, i - j = 1. This least-squares system is solved out for all 763 comparisons, and through this we can create "OPPONENT ADJUSTMENTS." Final ratings are calculated below. This ratings system is a special case of the GENERALIZED ROW SUM system, which also forms the basis of the COLLEY MATRIX and MASSEY ratings methods.
